PCTEL expands its distribution channel

BLOOMINGDALE - PCTEL Inc. said it has entered into a distributor agreement to expand its sales through Allied Electronics & Automation, a company that specializes in industrial automation.

Bloomingdale-based PCTEL is a global provider of wireless technology, including data-sharing devices, antenna systems and test and measurement solutions.

"PCTEL's product offering at Allied includes GPS, mobile and base station antenna products, and is a complement to Allied's strong industrial connectivity portfolio," said Marie Dawson, Allied's Product Director.

The agreement is a significant milestone in PCTEL's strategy to expand its distribution channels, said Arnt Arvik, vice president and chief sales officer. "Allied's expertise in the industrial marketplace, sales acceleration strategy and existing large customer base, together with PCTEL's broad antenna portfolio, make our strategic relationship a clear win-win," he said.
