Suburban foundation helps students stay safe online

SCHAUMBURG - One In Tech announced the launch of Cybersleuths, a series of free online courses to help students safely navigate cyberspace.

"With more students learning online than ever before, One In Tech believes that it is essential to provide students with resources to help them safely navigate cyberspace," said Ginger Spitzer, Schaumburg-based One In Tech's executive director. "However, we wanted to take cybersecurity education a step further to not only educate students about how to stay safe online, but to also help them refine their online learning skills and learn about the cybersecurity profession as a career option."

One In Tech is a nonprofit foundation created by ISACA, a training and accrediting group in the information systems and information technology industry.

Cybersleuths was created in collaboration with Bits 'N Bytes Cybersecurity Education and is designed for students in grades 4-12. For more information, visit www.oneintech.org.
