Algonquin Commons debuts Spooky Windows Illusions for safe Halloween fun

The Algonquin Commons has gone haunted for the Halloween season!

The mall has created a number of illusions around the mall in store fronts that are spooky fun for all ages.

Everything from haunted pirate ghosts, to ghouls dancing the night away can be spotted in store fronts throughout the mall. The illusions change weekly and can be viewed every evening from your car or on foot from Oct. 10 to Nov. 1.

This event is free to the public and the hauntings begin nightly at 6 p.m. and mysteriously disappear for the night at 9 p.m.

“The Spooky Windows Illusions have been fun to put together. We made sure these were not too spooky as we hope kids and parents will come out to see these cool hauntings to celebrate Halloween in a safe way,” said Kim Gilmore of GMCI Creative, the advertising agency that helped create the hauntings.

Algonquin Commons encourages all guests to follow suggested Centers for Disease Control guidelines implementing enhanced safety protocols throughout the center. Please do your part to stay safe by wearing a protective mask, practice social distancing, and washing and sanitizing your hands often.

Do not miss this ghoulish special effects event from Oct. 10 to Nov. 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. nightly at Algonquin Commons, 1900 South Randall Road, Algonquin.
