Inland Securities appoints Martin senior vice president

Peter S. Martin III has joined Oak Brook-based Inland Securities Corp. as senior vice president of institutional relations.

Martin will represent Inland-sponsored investment programs offered by Inland Securities Corp. through an extensive distribution channel of registered investment advisers and other financial intermediaries working in an advisory capacity.

Martin brings more than a decade of capital raise, business development and equity analysis expertise, with a focus on emerging markets, real estate, credit and infrastructure. Prior to joining Inland Securities, he served as managing partner of a private equity fund, where he raised limited partnership capital and led real estate development projects within the multifamily market. He also served as vice president - north east at Strategic Capital Distributors, bringing new offerings to market across the residential sector as well as leading the capital raise and business development initiatives in the institutional and retail channels.

Martin received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Boston College. He also completed international studies at Beida University in Beijing, China, and the University of Cordoba in Cordoba, Spain.
