Itasca Bank & Trust undergoes remodeling

ITASCA — Itasca Bank & Trust Co. has announced plans to remodel the bank at 308 W. Irving Park Road.

Remodeling began Oct. 7 and will continue in phases through the summer of 2020. Itasca Bank's Roselle branch, at 1 E. Irving Park Road, will undergo some minimal lobby construction in January 2020, to improve acoustics and privacy for customers.

The remodeling project is headed up by The Redmond Company, a 43-year old design and construction business based in Waukesha, Wis. The Redmond Company was chosen based on their vast experience of working on over 700 bank building projects.

“As an independent community bank, it is important for us to create a building that will facilitate the way banking is being done today while accommodating our customers' needs for the future,” said Itasca Bank President James R. Mensching. “The building has not been remodeled in over 25 years and we felt it was time for a makeover.”

There will be minimal impact to daily banking activity, he added. Floor plan drawings for the remodeling are displayed in the Bank's lobby and updates will be shared on the Bank's website. Mensching said,
