Third generation takes helm at Konen Insurance

AURORA - Nick Knudtson becomes third generation owner at Konen Insurance, joining his father, Jerry Knudtson, and uncle Brian Konen as partners in the family-owned business.

Nick's career began at Cincinnati Insurance Company, where he spent three years as a commercial underwriter, before joining the agency in 2017 as an account executive for commercial lines. A graduate of the University of Illinois, his additional certifications include Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associates in General Insurance (AINS).

His grandfather, Vince Konen, founded the agency in 1963, with Brian and Jerry purchasing the business in 1994. Nick is excited to carry on the family tradition, continuing to provide exceptional service and coverage to all our customers.

The agency currently has a staff of 17 and continues to expand. Their services include personal, business, and life insurance, retirement planning, and employee benefits.
