AST names Winter as new CEO

LISLE - Applications Software Technology has appointed Justin Winter as its Chief Executive Officer.

He succeeds Pravin Kumar, AST's founder and past CEO. Kumar has been named vice chairman and in this new role will be responsible for strategic planning and acquisitions.

Winter has more than 25 years of regional and global experience in leading IT services organizations. Before joining AST, he spent 15 years at Hitachi Consulting, where he held multiple leadership positions. His most recent position was chief operating officer, where he had responsibility for all sales, marketing, delivery, and operations globally. Prior to Hitachi Consulting, Justin worked at Oracle, IBM and other consulting companies in various service delivery and sales roles.

Winter lives in the suburbs of Dallas, TX and will lead AST from its office in Dallas. In the coming weeks he will visit and connect with AST partners and customers.

"Justin's depth of experience will immediately benefit AST and our customers, by furthering our efforts in delivery excellence and corporate growth," said Executive Chairman Gurvendra Suri.
