MTR Truck Center celebrated the completion of a new 12,000 square foot facility at 910 County Line Road in Bensenville. The new location is adjacent to their existing 11,300 square foot facility in Bensenville. Village Manager Evan K. Summers and MTR Truck Center Owner Eduardo Loya cut the ceremonial red ribbon. MTR Truck Center is a family owned and operated business.

Elmhurst Hospital's Emergency Medical Services has awarded its "Run of the Month" for January 2019 to the Villa Park Fire Dept. Crew members were recognized for their care on Jan. 22 of a 76-year-old woman who was having difficulty breathing. Using cardiac monitoring, paramedics determined the woman was experiencing an abnormal heart rhythm. She was taken to the Elmhurst Hospital Emergency Department for further treatment and was discharged from Elmhurst Hospital in good condition six days later.
The Heritage Corridor Business Alliance recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house to celebrate the grand opening of its new office at 416 Main St. in historic Downtown Lemont. Lemont Mayor John Egofske, along with trustees and staff from Lemont and Homer Glen, HCBA board members, fellow members and executives from Lemont Bank & Trust Bank were on hand to celebrate the move into the newly renovated office space.

Liquid Technology held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate their newest location at 487 Thomas Drive in Bensenville. Managing partner Richard Greene cut the ceremonial blue ribbon and was joined by many Liquid Technology staff members, members of the Bensenville Chamber of Commerce, and village staff. This new space in Bensenville will offer Liquid Technology 19,400 square feet of additional space for asset processing and improving turnaround time for customers.

The chamber, which is celebrating 85 years, moved after being on Oakton Street for 30 years. Aldi recently held a grand reopening for its Hoffman Estates store at 375 W. Higgins Road. The remodeled store is part of the $180 million investment to update more than 130 stores in Chicago area by the end of 2020.
