Chicago Southland CVB hires Arvia as communications manager
The Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau has hired Katie Arvia as the new Communications Manager.
Arvia joins the Lansing-based CVB team with several years of writing experience, gained from working as a freelance reporter with The Lansing Journal and serving as the senior news editor of her college newspaper, The Xavierite, at Saint Xavier University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree.
In addition to her writing skills, Arvia also brings marketing and design skills, which will be beneficial to the Bureau's mission of promoting the Chicago Southland.
The Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau is the official destination management and marketing organization for Chicago's 63 south and southwest suburbs.
