New members join Consumers Credit Union board
WAUKEGAN — Consumers Credit Union members recently elected four new people to its board of directors during CCU's 89th annual meeting in Gurnee.
The newly-elected board members include Ann Campanella, Joseph Rajcevich, Michael Raysakis and Frank Soyka. Other members of CCU's board include Denise Charts, Shawn Clisham, Scott Drabicki, Spiro Giotis, John R. Janezic, James Mahnich, Spiridoula (Litza) Mavrothalasitis and, Dr. John Schwab. Members of CCU's board are unpaid, one of the key differences between credit unions and banks.
The board's executive committee was also selected during the board's first meeting. The committee consists of John R. Janezic, chairman; Ann Campanella, vice-chair; Frank Soyka, treasurer; Denise Charts, secretary; and Joseph Rajcevich, chair of the supervisory committee.
More than 300 members and guests attended the annual meeting at Great Wolf Lodge in Gurnee. CCU CEO Sean Rathjen provided a comprehensive update on the member-owned Credit Union's 2018 performance and a preview of plans on the horizon for 2019.
