Caputo Cheese launches e-commerce site

MELROSE PARK - Caputo Cheese announced it has launched an e-commerce site and online cheese shop at www.caputocheesemarket.com.

The shop is easy to navigate and showcases more than 200 varieties of cheese, along with a collection of specialty items and Italian products recommended by Natale Caputo, Caputo Cheese president and distinguished Cheesemonger.

"Our team has been committed to excellent service in our Chicagoland brick and mortar locations and we are pleased to offer this to our online customers as well," Caputo said.

Caputo Cheese recently won several awards at the 2019 U.S. Championship Cheese Contest, including first place for its Ricotta Red, and third place for both Nodini and Burrata. The company received notable recognitions in 2018 as well, winning first place for their Burrata and Nodini at the 2018 World Championship Cheese and first place for Ricotta, Nodini and Burrata at the American Cheese Society Conference. The Nodini was named one of the best cheeses of 2018 by Culture Magazine: the word on cheese.

Caputo Cheese began in 1978 as a small retail cheese shop founded by René and Pasquale Caputo and is currently under the leadership of their son, Natale. The family has two brick and mortar locations in Melrose Park and Lake Forest.
