Itasca Bank & Trust makes four appointments

Itasca Bank & Trust Co. in Itasca has made the following appointments:

• Marc DeFauw, CPA, was recently appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer. He was previously the senior vice president/chief financial officer at a community bank with multiple offices in the Chicagoland area and has over 23 years of accounting experience, including the last eight years in community banking. DeFauw holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. He obtained his CPA certification soon after graduating.

"Marc's accounting expertise within a community bank is a strong asset for the Bank," said James R. Mensching, President of Itasca Bank & Trust Co. "His experience and leadership abilities as a Chief Financial Officer are key to our strategic plan."

DeFauw is married with three children. He and his family reside in Riverside.

• Scott LaMorte was recently appointed vice president of business development. He has over 20 years of business development and philanthropic experience in DuPage County. LaMorte holds two Bachelor degrees from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst IL; one degree is in Interdepartmental Communication and the other degree is in Information Technology.

"Scott's business development skills and community involvement are strong assets for Itasca Bank & Trust Co.," said James R. Mensching, president of Itasca Bank & Trust Co. "His experience as a professional relationship builder is a key to our strategy of building relationships with new commercial customers."

LaMorte is married with two children. He and his family reside in Elmhurst.

• Angelo M. Marroquin, CTFA, JD, was recently appointed vice president and trust officer. He previously managed Trust and Estate Administration at a large community bank with multiple offices in the Chicagoland Market. He has over 10 years of banking experience.

Marroquin holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois and a Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.

"With banking and trust administration experience, all in the Chicago market, Angelo's expertise as a fiduciary officer and attorney will be a strong asset for the Bank's ability to meet the needs of our customers," said Mensching, "His experience and leadership abilities in the Estate Planning and Wealth Management areas are key to the growth of the Itasca Bank & Trust Co. Trust Department."

Marroquin is married with one child. He and his family reside in Bartlett.

• Nicole Marshall was recently appointed vice president and commercial loan officer. She has over 26 years of banking experience as a commercial lender. Marshall holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa and a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from DePaul University Kellstadt Graduate School of Business in Chicago.

Marshall is married with four children. She and her family reside in Northbrook.
