Camping World rolls outs Gander RV centers

LINCOLNSHIRE - Camping World Holdings has expanded it roll out of Gander RV stores throughout eight states.

The first Gander RV location opened in 2018 in Kenosha, Wis., inside a revamped Gander Outdoors store. Since the opening of Kenosha, the company has opened additional Gander RV locations Florida, Georgia North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texaas and Virginia. Additional Gander RV locations will open soon in Alabama, Kansas, Minnesota, New York, Louisiana, as well as in downstate Springfield and Marion, Illinois.

"We view our existing Gander Outdoors stores as the most cost-effective opportunity to increase our RV sales presence and grow our Good Sam Club, particularly in key RV markets where we are underpenetrated," said Marcus Lemonis, Chairman of Camping World Holdings.

The company continues to actively pursue new dealership opportunities through the acquisition of land and existing dealerships in high traffic, outdoor-centric areas.

Camping World Holdings acquired Gander Mountain in a bankruptcy auction in 2017.
