Principle handles Magic Woods expansion

AURORA - Principle Construction Corp. is working on another expansion for Magic Woods within the 375,000 square foot industrial property at 1600 Sequoia Drive in Aurora.

The building is owned by Seefried Properties and LIT Industrial Limited Partnership.

Magic Woods, a manufacturer and distributor of bathroom vanities, sinks and vessels, built the building in 2016. The current expansion includes: 4,210 square feet of new office space, a new 1,636 square foot showroom, and a new 253 square foot truckers' area with a 61 square foot remote restroom. Principle will also add 36 docks, 310 car-parking stalls, and two drive-in doors. They will install four 80/20 HVAC units, phase 3 power, LED lighting fixtures, and a ballasted rubber roof that meets R-30 energy code.

Darrin Dehmlow of Rosemont-based Principle will act as the senior project manager for the improvements, while Principle's Tom Sterbenz is serving as superintendent. Harris Architects provided design services.
