Imagination Ball to mark Community Foundation Week

DOWNERS GROVE - The DuPage Foundation will join nearly 800 other community foundations across the country to celebrate Community Foundation Week, Nov. 12-18.

Created in 1989, the week recognizes the important work foundations do and their collaborative approach to working with the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Community Foundation Week coincides with National Philanthropy Day on Nov. 15.

To celebrate locally, the DuPage Foundation will honor Community Foundation Week by holding its Annual Benefit on Saturday. The Imagination Ball, held at The Westin Hotel at Yorktown Center in Lombard, promises a whimsical evening of dinner, dancing, and a host of fun surprises inspired by the wonderful world of Willy Wonka.

Our community foundation can only succeed because of the people who care about improving their community, both now and into the future. The Foundation is grateful to all who have contributed to our success, and we look forward to growing together!
