Weber hosting grilling classes and interactive dining events

An interview with Gretchen Timosan, sales and marketing manager at Weber Grill.

Q: Tell us a little bit about the business.

A: We will be holding public and private hands-on grilling classes and interactive dining events.

Three season grill academy is located on our covered patio, a beautiful new space with an array of charcoal and gas grills for our guests to learn and grill on.

Q: Explain the history. How did it get started?

A: We have always held grill classes once a month, this new venue has given us the opportunity to offer more frequent classes on different topics like grilling pizza, surf & turf, smoking on the grill and more fun themed classes for grillers of all levels.

Q: What do you offer when it comes to corporate meetings?

A: We offer private grill classes, interactive dining experiences with our chef and team building events like burger battle competitions. We can create unique menus for each event, drink packages and more to make your event unlike anything else.

Q: Describe the atmosphere.

A: A fun, laid back grilling experience where you learn from the masters.

Q: Tell us a little about yourself. What is your past experience in the industry?

A: I have worked for Weber Grill Restaurant since 2010. In addition to working in restaurants, I have also worked in the hotel industry.

Q: Tell us one interesting fact about the business that most people may not know.

A: Weber Grills were invented right here in Chicago and the company is still headquartered right here in Palatine.
