Construction begins on Vernon Hills row homes
Construction is underway for Port Clinton Row Homes, a new, maintenance-free community located in Vernon Hills, on the border of Lincolnshire.
The homes are being developed by a joint venture of The Taxman Corp. and Millco Investments, both based in Skokie. Kinzie Builders is the general contractor, and @properties is the exclusive sales and marketing firm.
Located on Byrne Boulevard between East Port Clinton Road and Town Center Road, and within the Stevenson High School and Lincolnshire-Prairie View Elementary School districts, the community offers 18 three-story row homes priced from the $420,000s. Floor plans offer three bedrooms plus a den, two-and-a-half baths, 1,870 to 1,984 square feet of living space, and attached two-car garages. First deliveries of Port Clinton Row Homes are slated for the first quarter of 2019.

Built by Kinzie Builders, Port Clinton Row Homes features a transitional design highlighted by contextual brick and Hardie board exteriors and contemporary interiors. High-quality finishes include hardwood floors in living areas; GE Profile or KitchenAid stainless steel appliances; Granite or Quartz countertops; and custom cabinetry in kitchens and baths. Each home offers three bedrooms on the third level, and a flex room on the first floor that can be used as an office, den or media room.
Located just northwest of the intersection of Route 45 and Milwaukee Avenue, the community is close to numerous shops and restaurants as well as recreational amenities including forest preserves, health clubs, golf courses and theaters.
