Krusinski awarded Glenview contract

Krusinski Construction Company said it has been awarded the new construction of Avidor Glenview, an age-restricted apartment complex for developer, High Street Residential, the wholly-owned residential subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company, at 650 Waukegan Road in Glenview.

Krusinski Construction has begun the demolition of an auto dealership to make room for the four-story, 260,000-square-foot building, working alongside ESG Architecture & Design as architect; Meyer Borgman Johnson as structural engineer; and Kimley-Horn as civil engineer. The building will seek LEED-certification and will include 168 adult residential units, 64 surface parking spaces and an additional 168 garage parking spaces.

The complex is situated on 3.2 acres near various recreational parks, retailers and Glenview's upscale Glen Town Center.

Features will include unit balconies and an exterior amenity courtyard consisting of a swimming pool and hot tub, a grill station, fire pit gathering space, bocce courts, and planter boxes with raised garden plots. Interior amenities will include a pet spa, movie room, nail and hair salon, fitness center and yoga room, game room, and interior and exterior lounge areas.

The project completion is slated for the fall of 2019.
