Lands' End day in Kildeer Saturday

Kildeer Mayor Nandia Black and the Kildeer board of trustees for the Village of Kildeer issued a proclamation welcoming Lands' End to the community.

The Dodgeville, Wis.-based retailer chose Kildeer to open its first store in 21 years at 20291 N. Rand Road, and is the first of four to six stores Lands' End plans to open in 2018.

Black and Chief Village Officer Michael Talbett will present Claudia Mazo, senior vice president of retail at Lands' End, with the proclamation today and the mayor will cut the ribbon at the store's grand opening.

In celebration, Lands' End will offer a special promotion to the first 100 customers.

"We are excited to finally bring the Lands' End brand to life with the new store, where these loyal customers can experience the quality, value, service and style that is the heritage of our brand, in person," Mazo said.
