Two Alden administrators earn leadership awards

The Alden Network said two if its administrators - Allison Pease of Alden Estates of Northmoor Short-Term Rehabilitation and Health Care Center and Jaimee Demmon of Alden Valley Ridge Rehabilitation and Health Care Center - have received the Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award from the American College of Health Care Administrators.

Pease, of Skokie, and Demmon, of Carpentersville, were two of the 38 Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award recipients who were honored at an awards luncheon at ACHCA's 52nd Annual Convocation and Exposition in Orlando, Florida.

"Allison and Jaimee are wonderful examples of administrators who know what matters most to patients and communities - quality care and service," said Robert J. Molitor, chief executive officer, The Alden Network. "This was a well-deserved honor for them."

Based on the premise that facility excellence reflects leadership excellence, the Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award recognizes administrators whose facilities, among other things, perform in the top quartile on key Quality Measures, do well on Health, Fire Safety and Complaint surveys and include an 85 percent or greater facility occupancy rate.

For over 45 years, The Alden Network has provided health care and residential solutions for seniors to help them function to the best of their ability and live life as independently as possible. The Alden Network offers more than 40 sites throughout the Chicagoland area, Rockford and southern Wisconsin.
