Camping World expands footprint with super centers in Georgia, Illinois and Ohio

Camping World Holdings Inc., a large network of RV-centric retail locations, announced expansion plans for the development of new super centers in Augusta, Georgia, Marion, Illinois and Huber Heights, Ohio.

Camping World, headquartered in Lincolnshire, currently owns and operates over 140 super centers nationwide, with most locations specializing in RV sales and service, retail accessories and its entire portfolio of Good Sam products and services. Plans are underway to expand the company footprint with additional locations in several high traffic, outdoor centric markets, with the new super centers in Augusta, Marion and Huber Heights planned to open later this year.

"This is an exciting announcement not only for those of us who love the outdoors, but also for the community members of these great markets. The new locations, slated to open in 2018, will not only increase our presence in new markets, but are also in alignment with the strategic growth plans we have for the company," said Marcus Lemonis, chairman of Camping World. "As part of Camping World's growth strategy, the brand is making major investments in the quality of its dealer network. From new strategic acquisitions, new store development and facility upgrades, the company's network will continue to expand and evolve while serving our customers' outdoor, RV and camping needs."

The new markets for development are in addition to recent RV dealer acquisition announcements made in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Little Rock, Arkansas, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Nashville, Tennessee.
