Four suburban properties sold

Brown Commercial Group in Elk Grove Village has negotiated the sales of four industrial buildings totaling 41,398 square feet in Chicago's suburbs.

Sales Associate Brian Lindgren represented the buyers in all four transactions. In the first transaction, Lindgren represented Premium Investment Properties LLC, in its purchase of the 25,000-square-foot building at 2211-2239 Curtiss St. in Downers Grove. The seller, Simborg Industrial Real Estate LLC, was represented in-house by Bob Hennessy.

In addition, Late Apex LLC purchased a 7,200-square-foot space at 2600 Beverly Drive, unit 104-105 in Aurora as a sale lease-back transaction. The Seller, HBK Venture LLC, was represented by Cory Ramey of John Greene Commercial.

Peach State Roofing, based in Atlanta, Georgia purchased a 6,100-square-foot building at 1189 Lyon Road in Batavia. The seller, a private investor, was self-represented. This is the first Illinois location for the roofing company, which has multiple locations across the U.S. The building is one of few in the area in this size range and with outdoor storage potential.

Ecoshield Pest Control bought 3,098 square feet at 3339 N. Ridge Ave, in Arlington Heights. The seller, Marashaw USA Inc., was represented by United Real Estate's Gloria Lin. This is a new location for the Arizona company.

"We continue to see a shortage of small to mid-sized investment property in the Chicago market," said Dan Brown, president of Brown Commercial Group. "These properties are located in key suburban growth markets and were identified as strong investments that would provide long-term value for the buyers."
