Golfer Kris Tamulis to compete at basketball game

The KPMG Women's PGA Championship will take center court at halftime of the Northwestern Men's Basketball game on Thursday, Feb. 22, against Big Ten rival, Wisconsin.

The PGA, which will be played at Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Kildeer, will partner with Northwestern for a halftime "Putt-To-Play" competition to give one fan a rare chance to play alongside the best players in women's golf.

LPGA Tour Star Kris Tamulis will be in attendance to participate in the half-time event. A longtime player on the LPGA Tour, Tamulis has recorded 1 win and 8 career Top-10s with more than $1.5 million in career earnings.

One lucky fan will be chosen to participate in the long putt contest with a chance to win a spot to play in the official KPMG Women's PGA Championship Pro-Am. Tamulis will take aim with her putt to win everyone in attendance, a free ticket to the 2018 KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Kemper Lakes Golf Club in June.

The 2018 KPMG Women's PGA Championship will take place June 26-July 1.
