Symphony Clinical Research in Vernon Hills wins innovation award

Symphony Clinical Research with offices in Vernon Hills and Poland has been named a winner in the 2018 BIG Innovation Awards presented by the Business Intelligence Group.

By 'changing the place' of the clinical trial to the patient's home, office or destination, Symphony has been able to successfully support study sponsors in 'changing the pace' of their trial by improving enrollment and retention. The in-home visit has effectively 'changed the face' of clinical trials by associating the clinical trial process with a place of comfort and convenience.

"This year's winners show the diversity of innovation and its impact on the economy, our cultures and the world as a whole," said Maria Jimenez, chief operating officer of the Business Intelligence Group. "We are thrilled to be honoring Symphony Clinical Research as they are leading by example and making real progress on improving the daily lives of so many."

Organizations from across the globe submitted their recent innovations for consideration in the 2018 BIG Innovation Awards. Nominations were then judged by a select group of business leaders and executives who volunteer their time and expertise to score submissions and provide feedback.

Symphony Clinical Research is the global service leader in providing in-home and alternate-site clinical services to patients in all phases and therapeutic areas of clinical trials. In-home services can be used in all patient populations from neonatal through geriatrics. Since 2003, Symphony has been bringing the clinical trial visit to patients' homes and alternate sites making it more convenient for patients across the globe to participate in clinical trials.
