Missner Group finishes Elgin Toyota in Streamwood

The Missner Group said the Des Plaines-based firm has completed an extensive exterior improvement and renovation project on behalf of Elgin Toyota at 1600 W. Lake Street in Streamwood.

The property is owned by the Bob Loquercio Auto Group, which operates multiple auto dealerships around the Chicagoland area.

The Streamwood project, completed while the dealership remained operational, included an extensive parking lot addition, the construction of an underground stormwater detention system and the completion of numerous site improvements. This is The Missner Group's second project for the Bob Loquercio Auto Group. The firm is also completing a 180,000 square foot Toyota dealership and service center on Western Avenue in Chicago.

"It has been a pleasure to work with the Bob Loquercio Auto Group on two projects simultaneously," said COO Bob Nomellini. "Our teams worked seamlessly throughout the process, enabling us to easily complete the construction at the Streamwood facility on time and within budget. The finished project brings a fresh, modern look to the existing dealership, making for a welcoming environment for both staff and customers."

The Missner Group construction team included Kent Nepras as project manager and Angelo Christopher as project superintendent. Jacob & Hefner provided the civil engineering and architecture for the project.

The Missner Group, headquartered in Des Plaines, Illinois, provides comprehensive and integrated real estate development and construction services throughout the Chicagoland and Midwestern markets. The firm, established in 1945, has completed more than $1 billion in construction projects, and has orchestrated the development of more than 10 million square feet of commercial and industrial real estate.
