Six join Silver Cross Hospital staff
Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox announced six physicians have joined the hospital's medical staff. They are independent practitioners on the medical staff and are not the agents or employees of Silver Cross Hospital.
Saadi Alhalbouni, M.D., board certified vascular surgeon, has joined the Silver Cross medical staff. Alhalbouni completed a general surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Ankit Desai, M.D., board certified ophthalmologist, has joined the Silver Cross medical staff. Desai attended medical school at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University-Medicine and Sciences in Chicago. He completed an ophthalmology residency at St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Blanca Herrera, M.D., board certified emergency medicine physician, has joined the Silver Cross medical staff. Herrera attended medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. She completed an emergency medicine residency at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She cares for patients in the Silver Cross Emergency Department in New Lenox and Silver Cross Emergency Care Center in Homer Glen.
Nili L. Seleski, M.D., board certified pediatrics physician, has joined the Silver Cross medical staff. Seleski attended medical school at Rush Medical College in Chicago. Her office is located with Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Outpatient Center, 1870 Silver Cross Blvd., New Lenox.
Kimberly Thompson, M.D., board certified pediatrics physician, has joined the Silver Cross medical staff. Seleski attended medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Peter Tek, D.O., board certified urologist, has joined the Silver Cross medical staff. Tek attended medical school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove. He completed a urological surgery residency at Midwestern University.
