Consignment store opens in Crystal Lake
A new consignment store opened in downtown Crystal Lake.
Bella Blu is located at 129 N. Main St.
Cheryl Strom is the owner of the new consignment shop that carries new and used furniture, home decor, Mackinac Island fudge, candles and signature bath soaps & Bath Bombs.
The shop is taking in new consignors and vendors.
Strom, who is also a hairstylist, said the name of the shop has special meaning as it is named after her 18-month old granddaughter, Bella, and her daughter, who she calls Blue because of her eye color.
She added that the setting is perfect as the business operates in a building that is more than 90 years old.
A grand opening is set to take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 11-12.
