Glenview accounting firm announces promotions

Weiss & Company LLP, a full-service accounting firm in Glenview, announced the promotion of eight members of its staff.

• Bryna Kurtz has been promoted to senior manager. Kurtz, a certified public accountant, provides accounting services in English and Hebrew. Her specialties include family trusts, individual taxation and tax consulting for not-for-profit entities.

• Eve Fugiel has been promoted to senior manager. Fugiel, a certified public accountant, provides accounting services in English and Polish. She specializes assurance, consulting and tax services to clients in a myriad of industries and also specializes in consulting with high net worth clients.

• Lisa Hahm has been promoted to senior manager. Hahm is a certified public accountant with a M.S. in Taxation. She provides tax services in English and Korean for medium to large closely held businesses. She has extensive experience in the areas of corporate, partnership and individual taxation.

• Adam Cornelius has been promoted to supervisor. Cornelius is a certified public accountant who provides audit and review services for closely held businesses.

• Brian O'Toole has been promoted to supervisor. He is a certified public accountant who provides assurance, consulting and tax services.

• Daniel Bailey has been promoted to supervisor. Bailey is a certified public accountant who specializes in assurance services for closely held businesses.

• Andrew McCue has been promoted to senior accountant. He specializes in providing audit and review services for closely held businesses.

• Yesenia Malagon has been promoted to senior accountant. Yesenia specializes in individual, trust and corporate tax. Yesenia provides accounting services in English and Spanish.
