The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce gathered with the Village of Barrington for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of Wellness for Eternity at 119 W. Main St., in Barrington. Founded by Karolina Dolecka, Wellness for Eternity is a comprehensive, holistic approach to nutrition, as well as a provider of natural and organic products for the skin.
The Batavia Chamber of Commerce celebrated the ribbon cutting for The Market at Gaetano's with owner Wendy Gaetano, Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke, and Batavia MainStreet. The Market at Gaetano's is located at 15 E. Wilson Street, Batavia.
The Batavia Chamber of Commerce celebrated the Batavia Depot Museum expansion with a ribbon cutting ceremony with Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke, Batavia Historical Society's President Bob Peterson and other esteemed community representatives. The museum, 155 Houston St., is conducting a capital campaign to raise $2 million to add a second story addition.
The Geneva Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Haven Interiors, 15 S. Third St., Geneva on June 27, 2017. City of Geneva Alderman Mike Bruno and Geneva Chamber of Commerce President Jean Gaines held the ribbon while owner Bridget Carroll cuts the ribbon.

Members of the chamber and community joined the village of West Dundee, Community Development Director Tim Scott, Bricks Director of Operations Giovanni Labbate and co-owner Bill Wilson to celebrate the opening.
The Westmont Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau recently hosted the 2017 Westmont Community Golf Classic at Twin Lakes Golf Club, 400 W. 59th St., Westmont. Golfers from around the area enjoyed a 9-hole golf event filled with contests and refreshments for a warm summer day. The United Way of Greater McHenry County presented Baxter & Woodman Consulting Engineers with a Milestone Award at the United Way 50th Anniversary Dinner. The award recognizes companies that reach $50,000 or more in contributions.
