Grains higher, Livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Sep. gained 34.50 cents at $7.98 a bushel; Sep. corn rose 23.75 cents at $5.9425 a bushel; Sep. oats was up 18.50 cents at $4.5850 a bushel; while Aug. soybeans advanced 59.75 cents at 15.0650 a bushel.

Beef mixed and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Aug. live cattle was up .22 cents at $1.3737 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle fell 2.30 cents at $1.7810 a pound; Aug. lean hogs rose .95 cent at $1.1710 a pound.
