Election 2022: Watch GOP attorney general candidates debate issues

In this video with representatives of the Daily Herald, Steve Kim of Deerfield and David Shestokas of Orland Park take part in a joint interview in their Republican primary race for Illinois attorney general.

Both questioned the mandates issued by Gov. J.B. Pritzker to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and the early-release efforts Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx and others have promoted for some convicted drug offenders.

A third candidate in the race, Thomas DeVore of downstate Sorento, did not participate in the hourlong discussion.
