Fuel Tech awarded $5.3 million in air quality contracts

WARRENVILLE - Fuel Tech Inc. said it has received multiple air pollution control contracts totaling approximately $5.3 million from customers in India, South Africa, the U.S. and China.

The projects include Fuel Tech's first Flue Gas Conditioning systems in India and its first electrostatic precipitator upgrade in South Africa, said Vincent J. Arnone, president and chief executive officer.

Fuel Tech provides advanced engineering solutions for the optimization of combustion systems, emissions control and water treatment in utility and industrial applications.

"We have begun to see activity in our markets increase with the improved economic outlook as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic subside," Arnone said.
