Wheat for Dec. rose 1.75 cents at $7.9625 a bushel; Dec. corn was off 2.50 cents at $5.8350 a bushel, Dec. oats gained 8 cents at $7.33 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans fell 5.25 cents at $12.62 a bushel.
Beef higher and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Dec. live cattle was up .50 cent at $1.3817 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle rose 1.13 cents at $1.6525 a pound; while Dec. lean hogs was off 1.95 cents at $.7205 a pound.
