State representative sponsors holiday decorating contest

Do your home's holiday decorations outshine the neighborhood? Take a photo and you could win a free restaurant meal as part of a contest sponsored by Republican state Rep. Brad Stephens of Rosemont. The contest is open to 20th District constituents, with entries divided into Chicago and suburban residents.

"I'm looking forward to seeing the creativity of our Chicago and suburban residents," Stephens said. Entrants can email submissions to stephens@ilhousegop.org and are asked to put "Rep. Stephens Holiday Decoration Photo Contest" in the subject line, plus indicate if they are entering as Chicago or suburban residents.

The deadline is Friday, Dec. 31. Winners, runners-up and third-place contestants will receive gift cards for local eateries. Winning photos will also be displayed on Stephens' website and Facebook page. More information is available at (773) 444-0611.
