Elk Grove police seek help in finding SUV involved in fatal hit-and-run
Elk Grove Village police on Wednesday asked for the public's assistance in identifying an SUV that was involved in a fatal hit-and-run Oct. 13.
The make and model of the car are unknown, but police said it may have front- or passenger's-side damage and is thought to be a dark color.
Linda Washington, 62 of Elk Grove Village was walking east along the north side of Higgins near Touhy Avenue about 6:15 a.m. Oct. 13 when a westbound vehicle struck her.
