BOTTOM LINE: New Jersey hosts the Seattle Kraken after the Devils beat Chicago 4-3 in overtime.

New Jersey finished 19-30-7 overall a season ago while going 7-18-3 at home. The Devils recorded 252 assists on 145 total goals last season.

Seattle takes the ice for the fifth game in franchise history. The Kraken have been outscored 15-9 through the first four games of NHL play.
