Itasca candidate forums planned

Two candidate forums this week will allow Itasca voters to hear from local candidates.

A forum with the Itasca School District 10 candidates is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday. The event is co-sponsored by the Education Association of Itasca and the Itasca Support Staff Union and will be moderated by the League of Women Voters of Roselle-Bloomingdale. It will be streamed on the League's YouTube channel.

On Thursday, the League of Women Voters of Roselle-Bloomingdale is hosting a candidate forum on the races for Itasca village president and three seats on the village board. The online forum will begin at 7 p.m. via Zoom.

The candidate forum is free and open to the public, but registration in advance is required at my.lwv.org/illinois/rosellebloomingdale/calendar.

After the forum, a video will be available at lwvrb.org.
