Cook County approves tax break for U.S. Waterproofing's move to Schaumburg

The Cook County Board of Commissioners approved a Class 6B property tax incentive this week for Rybro LLC, enabling U.S. Waterproofing & Construction to occupy the previously vacant site at 81 Remington Road in Schaumburg.

The company plans to use the building for warehousing, assembly and distribution of products used in the basement waterproofing and foundation repair industry.

"Our tax incentive tools are used to either keep or expand businesses in Cook County," Board President Toni Preckwinkle said in a written statement. "The companies receiving these incentives, designated for either industrial or commercial use, have demonstrated their commitment to helping us grow vital communities. We're proud to support them as they continue to invest in Cook County and provide good paying jobs to our residents."
