No charges after Arlington Heights police investigate suspicious incident

Arlington Heights police said Thursday they've concluded their investigation into a suspicious incident from over the weekend and found no evidence that a crime occurred.

Police said a juvenile reported being followed by a man at about 1:15 p.m. Sunday near Jules Street and Dryden Avenue.


After sending out a community alert, police said they identified and spoke with the man, and determined no criminal charges would be filed. Authorities also said there's no indication the man is a danger to the community.

Police said no communication or contact occurred between the man and the juvenile.
