Northbrook Farmers Market to close early July 8
The Northbrook Farmers Market will close early - at 11:30 a.m. instead of 1 p.m. - Wednesday, July 8, due to the weather. It's the first time in its 12-year history that such an early closure has been planned. The hot weather is expected to make it difficult for both vendors and patrons, all of whom will be required to wear masks in the intense heat and humidity that's forecast, manager Dale Duda said. Plans for the annual Summer Stock collection of paper goods and cleaning supplies to benefit the Northfield Township Food Pantry have not changed. The market is at Meadow Road and Cherry Lane, Northbrook.
