MCC bookstore collecting donations

The McHenry County College Store is accepting donations to help students in need during the COVID-19 crisis. On its website, mccbookstore.mchenry.edu, shoppers can select "Donate to Student Success Fund" to add a donation of $1, $5, $10, $20 or more to their cart before completing a purchase. Established in 2017, the Student Success Fund was designed to improve retention when unforeseen circumstances could impact a student's ability to stay in college. In the past three years, the MCC Foundation has raised more than $44,000 for the Student Success Fund and awarded more than $25,000 in direct aid to help students cover emergency expenses, such as automotive repairs, rent, car payments, medical bills, and day care expenses.
