Ramirez joins DuPage Children's Museum board

DuPage Children's Museum in Naperville announced Alejandro Ramirez, chief financial officer of the Noble Network of Charter Schools in Chicago, has joined the nonprofit's board of directors.

Ramirez holds an MS in civil engineering from M.I.T. and an MBA from M.I.T., Sloan School of Management.

"Our newest board member embodies the spirit of community and brings talent, expertise and energy to the table," said Andrea Wiles, president and CEO. "We are very fortunate to have Alejandro on our team as we work to extend our reach and deepen our impact for all children."

Ramirez said his background in professional financial management and knowledge of the education sector will help advance the museum and communities.

"I support the museum's work to make inroads with low-income minority populations," he added. "I enjoy bringing my son to the Museum and want everyone to have access to the same quality learning experiences."
