Premier breaks ground on Itasca development

ITASCA -- Premier Design + Build Group has broken ground on a mixed-use, 48-acre development at the southeast corner of Devon Avenue and Rohlwing Road in Itasca.

The Bridge Point Itasca project for client Bridge Development Partners, LLC will feature three industrial buildings totaling 741,621 square feet. In addition to the industrial buildings, Bridge Point Itasca will include more than seven acres of land newly zoned for retail use. Premier is providing design + build services on the project.


The three industrial buildings are intended for use as state-of-the-art distribution/logistics centers. Each new facility will be constructed of precast concrete and steel and will feature high-end glass facades. Building 1 will include 40 exterior truck doors, two drive-in doors, and parking for 202 cars. Building 2 will have 34 exterior truck doors, two drive-in doors, and parking for 234 cars. Building 3 will offer 38 exterior truck doors, two drive-indoors, and parking for 213 cars. Each building will be constructed to offer a 32' clear height.

Diana Wolfe of Premier is project manager, working with superintendent Rip Pogue. Other key members of the Premier team for Bridge Point Itasca include senior vice president and Midwest market leader Michael Long, Mark Melone, executive vice president, director of construction, and Ron Nelsen, senior vice president of field operations, Midwest division.
