Grains higher, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery rose 6.60 cents at $5.1120 a bushel; Dec. corn up 4.60 cents at $3.9020 bushel; Dec. oats gained 6.40 cents at $3.0440 a bushel; while Nov. soybeans advanced 8.60 cents at 9.2200 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec. live cattle gained 4.80 cents at $1.1795 a pound; Nov. feeder cattle rose 1.57 cents at $1.4752 a pound; Dec. lean hogs was up .02 cent at .6442 a pound.
