Dr. Roberts Receives Trailblazer Award

On Saturday, September 14th, the Blue Crescent Outreach Foundation, in conjunction with The Nu Lambda Sigma Chapter of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, hosted their sixth annual Blue & White Scholarship Ball. The theme of this year's event was, "A Brotherhood of Conscious Men Committed to Closing the Education Gap". The Trailblazer Award in the category of education was awarded to Dr. Keely Roberts for her work toward this cause. We are pleased with Dr. Robert's continued commitment toward our goal of Excellence without Exception. Furthermore, Ms. Valencia Samuel, member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and fourth grade teacher at Beulah Park, was also recognized for her efforts in closing the education gap. We celebrate these two members of our D6 family and are #D6Proud of the dedication they show to the children in our community.
