July 22-25: CLC Days offer fall registration on all three campuses

The College of Lake County has created CLC Days as a convenient way to register for fall classes. The event, designed to help students build their futures, takes place from Monday, July 22 through Thursday, July 25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Grayslake, Lakeshore (Waukegan) and Southlake (Vernon Hills) Campuses.

Besides touring each campus, participants can apply for admission, register for classes and speak directly with advisors and counselors on-site at CLC Days. Information sessions will cover transfer planning, financial aid and scholarships, with representatives available to help students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Other sessions will offer preparation for placement tests that some students are required to take in order to determine their readiness for math and English classes. In additional sessions, instructors will explain academic programs leading to good careers, and the community can learn about campus-specific offerings at Lakeshore and Southlake, including the latter's Super-charged Saturdays offered this fall. For details, visit www.clcillinois.edu/clcdays.

"Whether you're a recent high school graduate or a working adult looking to upgrade skills or find a new career, CLC is here for students from all walks of life," said Jason Sarna, director of Admissions and Recruitment. "The college offers dozens of degree and certificate career options, so there's something for everyone. Plus, our guaranteed transfer agreements with 29 four-year institutions ensure a seamless transfer process. CLC has many advantages, such as our smaller class sizes, quality of courses and caring faculty."
