Mere months after the Rolling Stones announced the postponement of the band's "No Filter Tour" due to frontman Mick Jagger's heart surgery, the seemingly unstoppable musical legends are back in action. The band launches the rescheduled tour dates with two performances at Chicago's Soldier Field Friday, June 21, and Tuesday, June 25.

Country LakeShake Festival
Who's ready for some country? The LakeShake Festival brings a little country to the big city as it takes over Northerly Island for three days of mainstream country favorites on two stages. This fifth-anniversary lineup features artists Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Keith Urban, Cassadee Pope, Midland, Brett Young, Clint Black and more, along with a special appearance by Rita Wilson and music from Deejay Silver spinning between sets all weekend long.

Darling Suns at Solstice
The band members of The Darling Suns have been working hard on a new album, due out later this summer, but the band has been dropping tastes of what's to come. The Darling Suns' newest single "Loving You," out Friday, is a swinging summer song that dances within the band's signature folk-inspired indie rock sound - built around Rob Krause's upbeat but emotionally charged vocals and strengthened through Lindsey Ward's violin and John Stenger's jack-of-all-trades performances with guitar, synth and dynamic backing harmonies. But if you're paying attention, you'll notice some darkness creeping in around the edges, signs of the band's new direction for the upcoming release. The Darling Suns plays Yorkville's Summer Solstice Indie Music Festival. The two stages along the banks of the Fox River will feature a number of indie rock performances from the Chicago area's Invisible Cartoons, South City Revival, Noah Gabriel, the Second Winds and others, along with national and regional acts Julia Haltigan, The Artisanals, High Divers, Cory Chisel and more. Musical Muddfest
BaseCamp Pub and the Afterlife Alternative concert series bring you back to the rock of the early 2000s with Muddfest 2019, headlined by alt-rock band Puddle of Mudd and featuring the rock favorites of Saliva, Trapt, Saving Abel and Tantric. Dawn Dyar of Rock Rage Radio hosts the evening.

Alt.rock at GMan
Chicago rock band Man Called Noon packs an Americana punch, infused with the harder elements of rock, the lighter side of pop and a smoky soul finish. The impressive combo makes for a solid anchor for a night on the GMan Tavern stage, as the band is joined by Trickshooter Social Club, a band on the verge of a new album release, and Aaron Williams, who's been hard at work putting the finishing touches on the upcoming Homegrown Arts & Music Festival.
