Suburban high schools score musical theater award nominations

A number of suburban students and school theater productions have been nominated for the eighth annual Illinois High School Musical Theatre Awards.

The nominees were selected after evaluating 72 productions and more than 275 student applicants. Nominees will attend a workshop and perform before the winners are chosen to represent Illinois at The Jimmy Awards in New York City.

The nominees are:
