Explore Palatine's downtown during 'Girls on the Town'

The Downtown Palatine Business Association is celebrating its members and kicking off spring in a big way at the annual Girls on the Town event from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 3, in downtown Palatine. And remember, guys are invited, too.

On this festive Friday night, 20 participating Downtown Palatine Business Association member businesses will invite area residents to experience all their offerings, in addition to partaking in raffles, complimentary service demonstrations, special offers, giveaways, and hors d'oeuvres and wine tastings at select locations.

"Our quaint and walkable downtown provides an amazing backdrop for this popular event that grows each year. Our membership includes restaurants, a bakery, a jewelry store and specialty gift shops, salons and spas, businesses that offer music and cooking classes, health and fitness, financial services, as well as bustling night life and much more," said Downtown Palatine Business Association President Mica Mahler.

"Girls on the Town is a fabulous way to spend an evening with friends and to explore and get a taste of what all our members have to offer for area residents."
