Tour new Arlington Heights police station March 16

Arlington Heights police will host an open house from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the department's new downtown headquarters, 200 E. Sigwalt St.

Visitors will be able to take a tour of the new station and interact with police department staff. Light refreshments will be served.

Police in December formally opened the new $27.9 million station, built next to village hall on the same site as the previous headquarters building. The new two-level, 70,500-square-foot building will last the department 50 to 100 years, officials say.
